Frequently Asked Questions

What is a dog chain curb strap?

It's a curb strap made of a stainless steel chain that looks like a dog chain, finished with adjustable string ties.
How many links does it have?

It has 5 chain links. More links put the curb a little lower and looser in the chin groove, while fewer links sit higher and engage a bit sooner. Pick the length that fits your bit and your horse.
How does it adjust?

The string ties make it easy to adjust for a secure fit.
Will the chain rust?

No. The hardware is stainless steel, so it won't rust from sweat, rain or washing.
Is there a longer option?

Yes, a 7-link version is also available.
