Frequently Asked Questions

What is a cow horse curb strap?

It's a curb strap designed for reined cow horse events, built for easy adjustments and a secure fit.
What is it made of?

It's made from harness leather with stainless steel buckles. Harness leather is dense and smooth, holds its shape and darkens nicely with age.
Will the buckles rust?

No. The hardware is stainless steel, so it won't rust from sweat, rain or washing.
Can I use it outside of cow horse events?

Yes. It works well on any bit that takes a buckle-on curb strap.
How do I care for it?

Wipe it clean after riding and oil the leather regularly so it stays supple.
