Frequently Asked Questions

What is this curb chain made of?

It's latigo leather with stainless steel chain links.
How many links does it have?

It has 5 chain links. More links put the curb a little lower and looser in the chin groove, while fewer links sit higher and engage a bit sooner. Pick the length that fits your bit and your horse.
What bits is it designed for?

It's made for bits with a smaller purchase, where a shorter curb setup fits best.
Is there a 4-link version?

Yes. A 4-link latigo curb chain is also available if you want a slightly shorter chain.
Will the chain rust?

No. The hardware is stainless steel, so it won't rust from sweat, rain or washing.
